Some shots from Visakhapatnam

Visakhapatnam, or Vizag is a small sea-side town in Andhra Pradesh, India. It is famous for its virgin beaches, and the uniqueness lies in the waves crashing on the foot of towering hills. One can see the meeting of mountains and sea in Cape Town, South-Africa, but not anywhere else in India other than Vizag.

Thus, Vizag can be termed as the Cape-Town of India :)

There are beautiful beaches in Vizag, like the Tenneti Park beach, Bheemlipatna beach, Rushikonda beach, Totlakonda beach. But the most beautiful beach is in Yerada, where one has to cross a hill and go down the hill on the other side to go to the beach. Yerada beach is a wonderful phenomena of nature. While going, one gets to see the navy quarters on top of the hill.

Vizag is famous for the ship building industry. It is a small little town whose natural beauty has yet not been destroyed by pollution.
